Quench your wellness thirst
Embrace the goodness of nature. Brave the elements and you’ll feel the benefits. The Canadian Rockies and hydrotherapy work harmoniously together combining water, fire, air, and earth. Whether you’re here in sub-zero Alberta temperatures with a blanket of fresh snow all around or during warm days of sunshine and blue skies, time spent cleansing your mind and restoring your body is always a good idea. Your alpine sanctuary of rejuvenation awaits seven days a week — winter, spring, summer and fall. After all, we’re Canadian. We live for the outdoors regardless of the season. We warmly welcome you to Nordic spa across all four seasons too. #BravetheElements
BANYAN & BARREL SAUNAS
Enclose yourself in our traditional Russian-style banyan sauna. Retreat into cedar-scented warmth and take your preference of a dry or wet heat. Simply pour water on the built-in rock stove for an instant steam refresh.
Taking inspiration from the Turkish Hammam baths enjoyed for centuries in the Middle East, our Exfoliation Cabin is a full-body exfoliation steam room. Gently scrub from head to toe with KNS signature oil-infused body salts.
As part of the HOT element of your Hydrotherapy Cycle, breathe in the essential oil infused steam of our spacious Steam Cabin. Relax by sitting or lying back on the softly-finished tiled seats and just rest. For a reinvigorating instant refresh, you’ll also find cold water to douse your full body from the overhead cold plunge bucket.
COLD PLUNGE POOL
The COLD yin to the heat yang of the warm pools, steam and sauna cabins: this is not something you’ll want to miss. Try it and you’ll see why. Brave it, count to ten, breathe deeply, and just feel the all-body tingling sensation and clarity of mind.
Our warm pools are designed to be a peaceful place to indulge in pleasant warmth while resting for a while. Enjoy the mountain views that surround and quietly connect to nature and those around you.
To take your body temperature and heart beat up a notch, the hot pools are the place. Immerse into the steam and retreat into the HOT component of your hydrotherapy cycle.
Cocoon your entire body in one of our oversized hammocks complete with zip-up, waterproof cover to keep you nice and snug even in the winter. Ease into a nap, or simply rest for a while.
What’s more relaxing — or more Canadian — than time spent by the campfire? Wrap up in your spa robe, take a seat by our giant cauldron fire pits and enjoy perfect outdoor rest time.
Our change rooms were designed to make your pre- and post-spa routine as effortless as possible. You’ll find your spa robe, slippers, and fresh towels already waiting in your assigned locker, as well as individual shower rooms and communal dressing areas complete with a range of beauty and grooming products for your use.
