Dear valued Guests,

As you are likely aware, the ongoing spread of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) has been declared a pandemic by the World Health Organization (WHO) and remains a serious public health concern around the globe.

At the local level, businesses and individuals have been encouraged to follow health and safety precautions outlined by the WHO and Centers for Disease Control (CDC) to reduce the potential for transmission.

At The Kananaskis Nordic Spa we are committed to the health and well-being of our guests and staff, as well as that of the public at large. As a result, we have instituted the following protocols:

Employee wellness checks will be conducted at the start of each shift and guest wellness checks will be conducted at booking and check-in. All guests and employees will be required to wear masks and wash hands upon entry.  Mandated PPE will be used at all times.

  • We will be implementing a COVID-19 Screening and E-Waiver in addition to our touchless intake form
  • Touchless payment will be implemented
  • The time between treatments will be extended to allow for additional disinfection between guests
  • All guests will change clothing in their designated treatment room and common changing and waiting areas will not be used. Access to shared facilities will not be available at this time.
  • Required PPE will be worn by all employees and guests
  • Nordic Spa Food and Beverage service will be suspended however guests are welcome inside the Kananaskis Mountain Lodge outlets.
  • Reception, restroom, and entry touchpoints will be sanitized between guests, at a minimum once per hour. Sanitization stations will be available throughout
  • All product testers will be removed from the retail areas.
  • Our entryway and reception desk will be re-configured to allow for social distancing.

In addition to the measures listed above, we also reserve the right to politely ask guests to reschedule appointments should they exhibit symptoms related to COVID-19. Should such a situation arise, be assured that we will handle it with discretion and compassion.

We will continue to monitor this situation and follow the guidance of the WHO and the CDC, along with local, state and national authorities.

Thank you for your understanding, your compliance and your continued support of our spa. We have undertaken these measures with the health and wellness of our guests and staff in mind and will continue to act in their interest.
