Hydrotherapy Circuit Map

Take a moment, look around, immerse yourself. Kananaskis Nordic Spa is designed to evoke peace and rejuvenation, from the setting to the amenities.

On each visit to the spa, our advice would be to follow the hydrotherapy cycle for three to four circuits, using a combination of the hot and cold pools to truly experience the full benefits of hydrotherapy. Hot, cold, rest, repeat is our mantra, borne of the ancient Nordic wisdom behind the invigorating wellness benefits.

1. Hot

The initial hot stage reduces blood pressure while stimulating blood flow to the skin and muscles. Experience this in both our hot pools and sauna facilities.

2. Cold

The cold stage stimulates blood pressure, forcing the production of more white blood cells: your body’s natural healing agent. Your body flushes itself of toxins, your muscles relax, and you feel rejuvenated.

3. Rest

After each hot and cold cycle we invite you to rest and relax, allowing your body to stabilize.

Each cycle builds upon the previous, with healing white blood cell production growing with each cycle.

4. Repeat

Each cycle builds upon the previous, with healing white blood cell production growing each time.
